FlowBuild Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Summary: FlowBuild keeps your project files on your Mac. We do not run ads or sell data. Sign-in and model calls go to xAI so the agent can work. Direct-download builds may talk to local tools you start.

Who we are

iDevelopment LLC (“we”) makes FlowBuild, a native SwiftUI Agentic Development Environment tuned for Grok Build and Apple Intelligence. FlowBuild is independent — we are not affiliated with xAI, X, SpaceX, Tesla, or Apple. Contact: [email protected].

What stays on your Mac

  • Project files you open or grant
  • Session history stored under your user folder (including ~/.grok compatible files)
  • Settings and permissions you choose

We cannot see those files. They are not uploaded to iDevelopment LLC servers.

What leaves the device

To run the agent, FlowBuild sends prompts, tool results, and related context to xAI using your account or API key. That traffic is covered by xAI’s own privacy policy.

Optional:

  • Browser sign-in with xAI (OAuth). A local callback on 127.0.0.1 finishes login.
  • Web tools you approve (search or fetch a URL you asked for).
  • App Store / StoreKit purchase checks if you buy through Apple. Apple handles payment.

Two download channels

Mac App Store builds run in Apple’s App Sandbox. File and terminal tools only work in folders you grant.

Direct .dmg builds are not sandboxed, so they can work like a normal developer tool. You still approve agent actions in the permission sheet.

What we do not do

  • No advertising networks
  • No sale of personal data
  • No hidden analytics SDKs

Children

FlowBuild is a developer tool. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date on this page.
